10 years ago today, Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way went back in time to sedouce Volxemort and protect all of us from his evil plans
reblog this post to honor Enoby’s brave sacrifice, ignore if you’re a prep or a poser
I just kind of roll my eyes over all the posts along the line of “OH MY GOD ARE THEY GONNA BREAK UP” whenever Cecil and Carlos hit any sort of difficulty in their relationship
what if they just, you know, compromise and learn to deal with whatever problems they face and accept that their relationship isn’t always going to be perfect but god damn it, they’re going to try their best
like a healthy relationship
high school AU where carlos is the shy, quiet guy who just moved to night vale from another city. he’s only just gotten his growth spurt, and he was bullied relentlessly at his old school, so he doesn’t really understand when the suave, older guy named cecil starts talking about how perfect he is: in the halls, commentating at football games, everywhere
carlos thinks it’s all a cruel joke… but then he actually gets to know cecil, and he realizes that cecil actually means it… and slowly he realizes he’s developing feelings for cecil, too
carlos is incredibly nervous to do it, but he asks cecil to the homecoming dance… with a cactus (because flowers are difficult to find in night vale) and everything
cecil wastes no time in saying “YES!” and the two are later voted homecoming king and king
I hate when I’m in class, working on my personal writing and someone leans over and goes “WHat R U wRITing” like your eulogy if you don’t back the fuck up you soggy lampshade
Police officers in Ferguson, Missouri, have begun wearing body cameras after weeks of unrest over the shooting death of an unarmed black teen by a white officer and sharply differing accounts of the incident, officials said on Sunday.
Michael Brown, 18, was shot multiple times by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, sparking nearly three weeks of angry protests in the St. Louis suburb and drawing global attention to race relations in the United States.
Law enforcement and witnesses gave differing accounts of what transpired before Brown was shot, with police saying the teen had struggled with the officer. Witnesses say Brown held up his hands and was surrendering when he was shot multiple times in the head and chest.
The discrepancy has revived calls for officers across the county to be outfitted with body cameras to help capture an accurate record of police-involved incidents.
